A stream runs through a deep valley of stepped rice terraces, with Hmong and Giay villages such as Lao Chai, Ta Van and Y Linh Ho along the trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A common trek is about 10 to 12 km downhill from Sapa through the villages, with a jeep or motorbike back.
