Overview

Mui Ca Mau is the southern tip of mainland Vietnam, in a national park of mangrove forest, where the GPS marker 0001 stands. The last part of the trip is by boat through channels in the forest, and the land grows into the sea each year.

A fast boat from Ca Mau city takes more than three hours, and an undated guide lists about 130,000 VND per trip from Pier B on Le Hong Phong Street, with a boat leaving around 8:00. A recent report gives about 700,000 – 1,000,000 VND per boat for a private trip, depending on size and bargaining; confirm before you go.
