What cookies and similar tools are
Besides cookies, websites can keep small pieces of data in your browser (“local storage” and “session storage”). We call all of these cookies on this page. They remember choices, keep you logged in, and help partners credit a booking to us.
What we use
These are needed for features you ask for, so they do not need a consent banner. The site sets no advertising cookies of its own.
Cookies from partners
Two partner scripts load on our pages. They are the reason a booking made after clicking one of our links can be credited to us.
- Travelpayouts (affiliate links): recognises our partner links and may set a cookie so that a booking is attributed to us.
- GetYourGuide (partner analytics): measures visits and clicks on its tours and activities.
When you open a map, the map provider receives your IP address to send you the map tiles. If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google loads its own sign-in script and may set cookies. These companies control their own cookies; see their privacy policies for details.
Your choices
- Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser. The guides keep working; Saved places, login and chat history may not.
- Private browsing: clears most of this when you close the window.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: enable them in your browser if you want to signal that you opt out where partners support it.
Blocking affiliate cookies does not change the price you pay, but we may not be credited for a booking.
