A quiet White Thai village at the end of a path through the paddies, with homestays and trekking.
Pom Coong is a smaller and quieter village, north of Lac Village, set against a green hillside. It is known for stilt houses, rice paddies and an easy trek through bamboo forest and fields to a small waterfall.
It has fewer visitors than Lac, so it is a good choice if you want a calm stay. Many homestays here have gardens with views of the paddies, and the people are friendly and used to guests.
