A small island with a short beach and about 400 steps to a wide viewpoint over the bay.
Ti Top is a small island in Ha Long Bay named after a Soviet cosmonaut who visited in 1962. It has a curved beach for swimming and a stone stairway that climbs to a viewing pavilion with one of the best views in the bay.
The steps take about 15 to 20 minutes and are the reason most people come. At the top you can see the nearby islands, the boats and the green water in every direction. Many day trips combine Ti Top with Sung Sot Cave.
