A crater lake about 7 km from Pleiku, with a Quan The Am statue on the shore.
Bien Ho, also called T'Nung Lake, is a crater lake of nearly 300 hectares at about 800 m above sea level. It is sometimes called the bottomless lake because the old volcano craters are so deep. A strip of land runs into the water, with a white marble statue of Quan The Am on the shore.
The lake is about 7 km from Pleiku and is the city's best-known sight. It is a peaceful place for a walk among pine trees, for photographs and for sunset. Plan 1 to 2 hours, and combine it with Chu Dang Ya in the same area.
