The Cat Co beaches are three small bays on the south side of Cat Ba town. Cat Co 1 and 2 are the most developed, with sunbeds, cafes and a short promenade. Cat Co 3 is quieter and good for a calm swim.
They are reached by a short walk or a ride from the town centre. The water is clean in the dry season, and the beaches are a good break between sightseeing trips, especially in summer.
