Houses with fish cages underneath, floating on the Hau River where catfish are raised and fed by hand.
The Hau River at Chau Doc is home to many floating houses with fish cages below the floor. Families raise catfish and other fish for markets across the delta and for export.
A short boat trip takes you past several farms, where you can see how the fish are fed and the daily rhythm of life on the water. It pairs well with a visit to the Cham village.
