Overview

Tra Su is a protected cajuput forest in An Giang province. In the flood season the water covers the ground, and green duckweed covers the surface so that the forest looks like a green carpet.

Visitors ride a motor boat along main channels and then a small paddle boat among the trees. The watchtower gives a wide view, and bird colonies are the main wildlife highlight.

Highlights

  • Take a motor boat through green duckweed-covered channels
  • Switch to a small paddle boat among the trees
  • Climb the watchtower for views over the forest
  • See thousands of birds in the early morning or evening
