A white-sand beach on the south-east coast, calmer and quieter than the west coast.
Khem Beach (Bai Khem) is on the south-east coast of Phu Quoc, about 25 km from Duong Dong town. It has fine white sand and shallow, clear water. It is generally quieter than the main west-coast beaches, and it was for a long time under military control, which helped keep it undeveloped.
Resorts and cafes now stand along parts of the beach, and public access is still available. The sea is calmest from November to April. Bring water and sun protection.
