A small, still pond in the forest, reached by a short walk from the lake.
Ao Tien, the Fairy Pond, is a small pond of about 3,000 square metres in the forest on a hillside above the lake. According to local legend, fairies came here to bathe. From the boat landing a short wooded path of about 100 metres leads to the water.
The pond is small and still, and the visit is brief. Most people spend 30 to 45 minutes here as part of the standard lake boat trip. Pair it with Puong Cave and Widow Island for a half day on the water.
