Overview
Puong Cave is a karst tunnel in the Lung Nham limestone mountain, with the Nang River flowing through it. It is about 300 metres long. A small boat carries visitors along the water inside, past stalactites and limestone formations, and bats roost in the roof.
The cave is cool and slightly damp, so bring a light layer even in hot weather. It lies about 5 km from Cho Ra town. Boat hire for the cave is reported around 750,000 VND per boat, so agree the price before boarding. Allow about 45 to 60 minutes.
