A pink 1930s French-built cathedral with a rooster on its spire, in the middle of town.
Da Lat Cathedral, also known as the Chicken Church because of the rooster on its spire, is the main Catholic church in the city. It was built in the French colonial period, between the 1930s and 1940s, with a tall bell tower and stained-glass windows made in France.
The cathedral is in the centre of Da Lat, a short walk from the market and Xuan Huong Lake. The inside is mainly open around Mass times, so check the schedule if you want to go in.
