It is a family-friendly place with easy facilities. The water is not clear like the islands, but the beach is clean enough for a day by the sea.

- From Vung Tau centre
Back Beach is on the south-east side of the city and easy to reach by taxi, Grab or motorbike. From Ho Chi Minh City, the drive to Vung Tau takes about 2 to 2.5 hours, or you can take the fast ferry from Bach Dang.
